Several SVA alumni are participating in “Bronx Calling: The Second AIM Biennial,” a multi-site exhibition presented at the Bronx Museum of the Arts, Wave Hill, and 1285 Avenue of the Americas Art Gallery, on view through September 8. Ok Hyun Ahn (MFA 2003 Photography, Video and Related Media), Katie Cercone (MFA 2011 Fine Arts), Lisa Elmaleh (BFA 2007 Photography), Raul Gomez Valverde (MFA 2011 Photography, Video and Related Media), Alejandro Guzman (MFA 2009 Fine Arts), Naoko Ito (MFA 2010 Fine Arts), Wade Schaming (MFA 2010 Fine Arts), Diana Shpungin (MFA 2002 Fine Arts) and Pacifico Silano (MFA 2012 Photography, Video and Related Media) all have work included in the exhibition featuring emerging artists engaged in the Artist in the Marketplace (AIM) Program, which provides professional development opportunities for emerging artists in the greater New York City area.
