Sticky Jots, sticky note pads with bases that emulate digital devices, upholding the idea that the act of jotting down ideas provides a unique platform for creative brainstorming and communication. Co-founded by MFA Interaction Design students Pam Jue and Rae Milne.

Michael Yap’s (MFA 2012 Interaction Design) Etch Maps, customized data visualizations of Foursquare check-ins on poster-sized fine art prints.

coaster425LEO the Maker Prince, a children’s book by department faculty member Carla Diana, which teaches children about 3D printing through the adventures of Carla and LEO the robot.

Mr. Toastie, designed by Nikki Sylianteng (MFA 2013 Interaction Design), a microwaveable heating pad filled with rice and designed for optimal winter warmth.

toastie425Li’l Stories, fun facts to share among friends about people, places, animals and objects. Each set includes five cards with an illustration and 5-10 facts. Founded by MFA Interaction Design Department student Anke Stohlmann.

Nike+ Feulband SE, which tracks all day movement, measuring activity levels for individuals of all ages and fitness levels. Derek Chan (MFA 2011 Interaction Design) worked on the UX team.

nike425The Apocalypse Project Official Supporter’s Patch, designed by Catherine Young (MFA 2012 Interaction Design). Purchase of the patch supports the Apocalypse Project, “a speculative design research inquiry that explores our possible lifestyles as climate change continues to affect the planet.”

Facebox, a downloadable set of 50 stock photos of people’s faces, cleared for legal use by designers. Co-Founded by former department faculty member Khoi Vinh.

facebox425OFF Pocket, designed former department faculty member Adam Harvey. A pouch that blocks all wireless signals to and from mobile phones, preventing hacks and data leakage.
